Sensuality in movies and TV shows often masquerades as art, entertainment, or storytelling. But as Christians, we’re called to guard our eyes and minds against anything that stirs lustful thoughts or desensitizes us to sin.
I’ve struggled with the allure of certain shows that everyone seemed to be watching. But I noticed how they subtly shaped my thoughts and normalized behaviors that didn’t align with God’s Word. What we consume matters. It affects our hearts, minds, and even our relationship with God.
Choosing what to watch isn’t about legalism, it’s about wisdom. Ask yourself: Does this show draw me closer to God, or does it create distance? There’s so much content that glorifies God and aligns with His truth. Let’s choose to fill our minds with things that honor Him.

Lord, thank You for the wisdom to discern what honors You. Help me to guard my eyes and mind against anything that stirs lust or desensitizes me to sin.
