El Gadol, “The Great God,” speaks of God’s majesty, power, and supremacy over all creation. This name draws us to worship Him for who He is and to stand in awe of His greatness.
One of my favorite moments to reflect on El Gadol is while hiking in nature. Standing on a mountain or watching a sunset reminds me of the vastness of God’s power and creativity. He is the great God who spoke the universe into existence yet cares deeply for each of us.
God’s Power in Creation: El Gadol reminds us that the God who created the universe is still actively involved in our lives.
God’s Supremacy Over All: He is greater than any problem, challenge, or fear we face.
God’s Worthiness of Worship: Recognizing His greatness leads us to praise and honor Him with our lives.
Calling on El Gadol helps us focus on God’s greatness and reminds us that no situation is beyond His power.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for being El Gadol, the great God who reigns over all. Teach me to worship You with awe and to trust in Your mighty power.
