A Year of Joy and Ministry

This has been such a joyful year. My wife, our daughter, our son, and I have shared so many special moments together, from family outings to quiet evenings at home. My wife has been thriving in her new job, where she’s found opportunities to minister outside of the church walls. Her excitement and passion for helping others have been such an inspiration to me.

Today, as I celebrate my birthday, I’m filled with gratitude for this season of life. It’s a reminder to rejoice in the Lord for the blessings He has given, both big and small. The laughter of my children, the love of my wife, and the joy of serving God together are gifts I treasure deeply.

Jason’s story in the Bible reminds me that faithfulness in every season brings glory to God. Whether through ministry, parenting, or simply living out His love, we are called to rejoice in Him and trust His plans.

Reflection Questions

  1. How can you rejoice in the Lord, even in the small, everyday blessings?
  2. How does seeing others thrive in their calling inspire you to live out yours?

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the joy and blessings of this year. Teach me to rejoice in You always, celebrating Your goodness in every season. Help me to support and encourage those around me as they live out their calling. I give You all honor, all the glory, and all the praise. It’s in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen & Amen.
