Introduction

Kneeling Church is a vision for a church community built around humility before God, authentic discipleship, and the transforming power of the gospel.

The name reflects a simple truth found throughout Scripture. Real change begins when hearts bow before the Lord. Prayer is not something added to the life of the church. It is the foundation beneath everything.

Kneeling Church is still in the early stages of prayer, planning, and discernment. Many details are still being prayed over and developed. The vision continues to unfold as the Lord leads.

But the direction is clear.

Following the Pattern of the New Testament Church

Our desire is to follow the pattern of the New Testament church.

A place where believers gather to worship, study the Word, grow in faith, and go into the world to make disciples.

Study the Word of God
Grow in spiritual maturity
Go and share the gospel

Discipleship is central to this vision. The goal is not simply attendance, but transformation. Followers of Jesus learning to walk with Him, understand Scripture, defend their faith, and live out the gospel in everyday life.

The Path of Spiritual Formation

The life of the believer is meant to grow in intentional stages. At Kneeling Church we believe spiritual formation happens through a simple but powerful pattern.

Prayer grounds the believer.
Discipleship forms the believer.
Apologetics equips the believer.
Evangelism sends the believer.

Prayer keeps the believer rooted in dependence on God. Discipleship shapes the heart and mind through the teaching of Scripture. Apologetics strengthens understanding and prepares believers to defend their faith. Evangelism then sends believers into the world to share the hope of Christ.

The goal is not simply to gather believers, but to raise up disciples who know the Word of God, live it faithfully, and confidently share the gospel with others.

The Foundation

Prayer will remain the backbone of everything we do.

Kneeling before God reminds us that the church does not belong to a pastor, a program, or a personality. It belongs to Christ.

The church will be:

God centered
Scripture based
Full Gospel
Spirit filled

We believe the Holy Spirit is active today, guiding, empowering, and transforming believers as they walk in obedience to Christ.

Worship and Gathering

Worship will be modern in expression but anchored in truth, creating space for people to encounter God while remaining rooted in Scripture.

Sunday mornings will gather the church for worship, teaching, and fellowship.

Wednesday nights will focus on discipleship for the entire family. A shared meal before service will create time for community and relationships before people gather to study Scripture and grow together.

Faith in the Family

There will also be opportunities for family worship gatherings where parents and children worship the Lord together.

Seeing parents pray, worship, and respond to God is one of the most powerful ways faith is passed to the next generation.

There is no junior Holy Spirit. God moves in the hearts of both adults and children.

Ministry will be available for every stage of life, from children and students to adults and seniors, with the goal of helping every person grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.

The Vision Moving Forward

Kneeling Church is not simply about building another church. It is about building disciples.

People who know the Word of God.
People who walk closely with Christ.
People who are equipped to share the gospel with the world around them.

The vision continues to be prayed over, refined, and shaped as the Lord leads.

But the heart behind it remains simple.

A church where people bow before God, grow in His Word, and rise to live for Christ.

Because the strongest place a believer can stand is on their knees.
