The Alpha and the Omega

The title “Alpha and Omega” highlights Jesus’ eternal nature and sovereignty over all creation. As the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, this name reminds us that He is the beginning and the end of everything.

This name has been a source of strength for me in times of uncertainty. When life feels like it’s spiraling out of control, remembering that Jesus holds the beginning and the end reassures me that He also holds every moment in between.

The Beginning of All Things: Jesus was present at creation, and through Him, all things were made (John 1:1-3).

The End of All Things: He is the culmination of God’s plan, ensuring that His purposes will be fulfilled.

The Lord of Every Moment: As Alpha and Omega, Jesus reminds us that He is with us through every season, holding our past, present, and future.

Calling on the Alpha and Omega encourages us to trust in His eternal power and to rest in His perfect plan for our lives.
